I am looking for Mike Schmidt of Fulton County, IL. There are so many Mike Schmidts that I can't pinpoint him with any searches that I've tried so far. This is just a shot in the dark
All of my contact records were lost in a flood that I had several yrs ago and I have been unable to reach him or any of my family from that area.
He used to live in Cuba (on Rte. 1 I think) He has 2 daughters, Jennifer and Mandy and I think his wife is named Debbie. Jennifer got married in 1994 or there abouts and so her maiden name has changed but she has a daughter named Kayden. He used to work as a security guard for an elderly care center. I'm pretty sure he moved in 1994 to a nearby town. If anyone remembers him or knows him and could let him know that Justin from Salt Lake is looking for him or could let me know how to contact him I'd be sincerly greatful.
The name sure sounds familiar as I lived 40 yrs in Lewistown.but not seeing a face. Anyway, I looked in my phone book which is a few yrs old. It has a listing for a Mandy K Schmidt-309-647-3707 65 E. Beech Canton Illinois. Was he related to a Roy Schmidt from Lewistown?
The name Roy sounds familiar. I only met a few members of the family one night there in Lewiston but I had just turned 21 at that time and my cousins were excited to take me to "The Rocket" so I didn't really spend enough time to meet everyone.
The "Rocket".....lol I certainly know of that place. Roy lived down on West Euclid, had a daughter Christina. Cannot remember his wife or son's name for some reason. Roy was a nice guy, few yrs he came to my house as Santa for my kids.
How long ago did you turn 21? If you don't mind................As I said, I was born and raised in Lewistown but moved away in 2001, I was turning 41 then. Alot has changed.
I turned 21 back in 1992. My grandfathers brother had died and he had just come off of a 16 hr drive back here in Utah so my mom asked if I wouldn't mind driving him out there. I figured while I was out there I would look up my birth father, Mike Schmidt. He was really excited to meet me but we didn't get to spend too much time together. We kept in touch off and on for a few years but between my kids and my divorce I got overwhelmed and didn't keep in touch like I should have. Then a few years ago we had a flood and all of the information I had on him got wipe out. I've been looking for him, for all of them really, ever since. I know that they moved but who knows where.
Ok, so it gives me an age frame. I will go into classmates.com and see if anyone knows anything. A friend here just got hold of a new Lewistown area phone book and will look for the names. Hopefully we'll come up with something.
Not that I have any idea where he is now but I am wondering if it is the Mike Schmidt I knew back in the seventies that use to date my sister. This Mike Schmidt was from Smithfield, Il and had a brother Ronald and a sister Donna. I remember him as being short and stocky with light brown hair.
