William H. SMITH

Hello everyone!

I wondered if anyone could help me fill in the birth & death dates, wives and children of William H. Smith son of Henry Smith and Mary Fry.  I have some some poor photos of his grave stone and of one of his wives Abbie Mason but don't even know the cemetery they are buried in Fulton County.

I have listed that he was married 4 times and 2 of those were women in my family.  I would appreciate any help at all.

Wives were Elizabeth Wilcoxen, Lavinia Bybee, Deborah Jennings and Abbie Mason.

Thanks  ---------  Karen

Karen,

I have one cemetery book here at home, and found this info for Lovina.

Old Salem (Chloera) Cemetery Section 33 Buckheart Twp. Fulton County.

Smith, Lovina (Bybee) Died Oct 3, 1839 Aged 15?Y 7m 21d-stone broken hard to read. Wife of William H. Smith- Daughter of T & D Bybee. The question mark after the 15, I would assume is because the stone is broken and they could not make out the age.

Thank you for the date,  I have added it and the cemetery name.  She was only 15 years old when they married and she died that same year!  I appreciate it.  I wish I could remember the name of the cemetery where I took the photos of his grave.  I know it wasn't Salem.  We came to Fulton County only once and for a short visit.  I had no idea where I was most of the time.  We just happened to stumble over a couple of cemeteries and found some family graves.  I do know William H. Smith lived in Banner most of his life.

Sincerely  Karen

Dear Debbie-

Thank you so much for your research help.  I did not have that information in my files!  It is really a big help.  Now I know I have been in Walnut Cemetery!  The names mentioned also will help in searching more data!  I have very intricate family ties to so many people in Fulton County.  It was so kind of you to go search for me.  I really appreciate your help.  Thank you!  Karen
