I mainly research the descendants of Joseph Spencer of Lee Co., VA.  Many of his grandchildren proceeded west through Ky in the 1820's, 30's  and on.  They passed through In. with most going on to Il, MO and Ar.  Grandchildren from his son Joseph Jr. went west very early, though some may have stayed in Ashe Co., NC/Grayson Co., VA and his son Abraham left Ky abt 1838 and moved to Il.  Abraham eventually settled in Fulton Co., and presumably died there.  He was listed on th 1850 Fulton census.  His son Abraham Jr. was listed in the 1880 Fulton Census.  Jr. md Selena Jolinda?.  Sr. had more children I believe.  I have data on all the other children of Joseph Sr which I will gladly share.  But Abraham and Joseph Jr. have eluded me for 20 yrs until about two months ago. I need someone in Il to give me a push in the right direction.  Thanks, Manuel
