Researching Jesse Graves born about 12 September 1793 in Vermont or Northern New York.  He married Lucinda Wildon.  Lucinda was born about 17 March 1797 in Vermont. The Graves family  is in the 1830 census in  Fulton county, Illinois.   Children:  Erastus was born about 1816 in New York, he married Julia Johnson in Fulton County in 1836.  Erastus and Julia  are in Putnam township  in 1845.  Also in the same section  is Mary Johnson and an D. Most of this family group moved to Iowa in the middle 1850's.  Elias Graves and family stayed in the area of Cuba until his death in 1926.
