1850 Census shows Thomas Wheeler (born c.1813 OH) & wife Barbara (born c.1821 OH) farming in Lewistown, IL. May be a 2nd marriage for both subjects. She remarried 2 more times (Walker & Foote) after Wheeler's death. Living in the home also... Thomas James (1840-1880) who married Ellen Francis Johnson (1855-1920). After Thomas' death, Ellen married George Martin Gilbert, Sr and later brother-in-law Charles Wheeler. I am looking for any information on Ellen's family and Thomas Wheeler's family. I think I finally found the connection between Ellen's family and Caleb B. Johnson & Lydia G. Snyder, who raised her daughter Hattie May (Wheeler-Johnson), married to Thomas Johns. It appears Ellen's father, Uriah Johnson was a brother to Caleb's father, Isaac Johnson, MD.

Check your birthdates please. Not understanding, Thomas born 1913 and Barbara born 1821 have a son Thomas James born 1840..........And 1950 Census not clicking.
