Harper Hill cemetery records

Hi all,

I've just joined the forum, so forgive me if I'm new to the way things are done.  I think it is amazing that you have such a group.  It is also amazingly sophisticated for me to work my way through, so again, your patience, please, if I'm not doing things right.

I'm trying to find official death records for my great, great, great grandmother Sarah Royal Stout Clark.  Here's what I know:

Born April 11, 1789 in Lampeter, Lancaster Co. PA

Married Anthony Stout (sometimes Stought) June 2, 1810 in Morgantown, Monogalia Co. Vir--now WV--and moved directly to Greene Co. PA, then Butler Co., Ohio where Anthony died.  Sarah moved with her 4 children to Miami Co. Ohio where on May 7, 1821--or possibly July 7, 1821--she married Isaac Clark, a widower with 9 children.  In 1839 they moved to Sangamon co., IL and in 1832 to Fulton Co where they had six more children--Lydia, William, Ezekiel, Margaret, Amy, and James.  (whew!)

Died--August 4, 1846.  It is my understanding that she is buried at Harper Hill cemetery. (As is Isaac, I believe.  His record would be nice, too)

Fulton Co. does not have death records for this date.  My only hope for official confirmation of some of this is a cemetery record.  I have been told to ask for "a cemetery lookup in Liverpool"  Wow.  Does that mean something to someone?  And can someone do such a lookup for me?

I will also need a copy of such a record, so let me know what's involved in that.  (As you might suspect, this is for DAR submission.  Our family records, which seem quite thorough, aren't acceptable to that organization without substantiation.  I'm having fun doing it, though, and learning lots of interesting things along the way.

Wonder where all those 19 kids of Isaac and Sarah are now.  Wow.  They must populate an entire town.  Yet I've never known even one.

thank you,

Ms. Mayer,

My husband's family is related to this Sarah Royal Stout Clark you mention who is buried at Harper Hill Cemetery in Fulton County.  Are you still searching for more information? I see your query is nearly 8 years old so I hope you are still participating in this forum.  I look forward to hearing from you as it would be great to collaborate!
