My name is David STOKOE, my father is Robert STOKOE, his father was Harold STOKOE, his mother, Sarah SIDNEY from Knox County. Harold's father was Henry STOKOE, mother was Adna GREENWELL. Henry owned a grocery store in Farmington Il. (HA STOKOE & CO.) Henry's father was James STOKOE (born in England in 1835), mother was Angalina RAMEY. Jame's father I believe is also named James, but yet have not yet made a connection. his mother's name was Ann, her maiden name I'm not sure of , I believe may be HOWE, or HORD, or HORN. The only place I have found thier names (totally illegible) was on Jame's sister Sadie (Sarah) Marriage Certificate to Walter P. Baugman in 1878. James had 3 other sisters. Ambrozina (amby). Jane Ann (also born in England), who married James Brown in 1860 & Hannah (also born in England) married Hezekiah ZOOK. Hannah passed away in 1885, Hezekiah latter remarried. any help with James & Ann would be greatly appreciated.
