I am looking for the death date and burial place for Allen Edwards. His bio is in the 1890 "Portrait & Biographical Album of Fulton County" and he was still living in Ellisville Township as of 1900 (with his son Samuel).
I have been looking into this but not yet a death date for Allen Edwards. Am wondering if there is another name maybe to be looked for. Was Allen a first or middle name perhaps? I have a list of death certs before 1916 and nothing with the name of Allen. There is a Paul , male/white, Canton, looks like death date is 7/10/1922. Could this be a possibility? In looking at the census, I see in 1890 Allen is 52 and in Deerfield, fulton Co. with wife Catherine, a George Edwards 17, Samuel Edwards 10, and a John McCann.
Then in the 1900 Census the only Allen is in household of Burris M Edwards. Allen B. Edwards is age 5, son of Burris and Alice Edwards. They live in Ellisville Village, Fulton Co.
Could it be possible he died before the 1900 census was taken? Will keep looking. Do you know where any other family is buried? Ardith
