I have just recently fit together how my Brown familly is connected to the Southwoods. Apparently my grandfather's sister Mary Brown had a child named Dorothy Southwood way back abt 1918 or so. Mary Brown then married a Mr Lindstrom whom she remained married to and had other children. I know now that Dorothy Southwood had a son Dick who lives in Pekin and quite elderly. Does anyone have any info otherwise? At one time, I believe back in the 1970's , there was a Ronald Southwood who was murdered in the park up on the hill, just a few miles south of Canton IL. I believe he was related, possibly Dorothy's son as well. I remember the funeral, and have the news clip somewhere, but til found, just wondering. Thanks Ardith
What would you like to know? I have spoken with Dick Southwood by now and some other family member, and turns out a nice interesting story. As far as Dorthy and Mary, are you interested in the extended Brown family or the Lindstrom?
