Are you sure on the proper names? I checked the SSDI on both Perry and Carrie and no one in it with either first name, nor any female in 1989

This is what I have on Fordyce

Carrie Stauffer Fordyce b February 03, 1900 dau of Seth M Stauffer & Lovina Danner Shaffer d. July 02, 1989 Vermont, Fulton Co., Illinois m Perry Fordyce. I have no info on Perry or Perry Fordyce, Jr. Have other children Juanita Fordyce b June 23, 1917 d August 28, 1989 m Bryan Easley. Stanley Stauffer Fordyce b. July 10, 1918 d. February 19, 1999 Vermont, Fulton Co., Illinois. Wendall L Fordyce b. February 09, 1920 d September 26, 1993 Empire, Michagain.

HI Richard,
the only Fordyce I have found so far is a Permela- McDonough Co, Harris Cem or Twp not sure. Wife of C Fordyce. Will keep looking tho.

It has info, tho not sure how correct, there is a person to connect with but never know if they are still at that address.
Try posting a query in the Illinois/McDonough County forum and see maybe someone can help. I will keep trying myself.
