Hi...

New to this forum, I am trying to find out information about my husband's ancestors-and there were a few lines coming from Fulton Co. Il.

If anyone has any info whatsoever on...

James Yocum-(otherwise known as "Dude") who married Lucinda Carico 1865 (had 11 children:George,James,John,MaryE.,Albert,Elmer,Maggie,Charles,Jeremiah,Floyd,Fortha)James &  Lucinda are both buried in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown.

Their daughter, Mary Ellen Yocum married Albert Brush in Fulton Co. 1888 and they had 4 children-Levi,Elizabeth,Ralph&Ethel-she divorced him & married Ellsworth Peters, they had 2 girls-Gertrude & Myrtle Peters.

Mary Ellen's son, Ralph Brush went on to marry Mary Vaneta Reynolds, Daughter of Earnest Reynolds & Lydia (Burnaugh) Reynolds and they had Mary Elaine Brush (who is my husband's grandmother.)

If anyone has any concrete info regarding any of these people mentioned, please contact me.

I am especially needing info on Lucinda Carico and Albert Brush...

My children are descendants of Mary Ellen Yocum and Albert Brush.  Mary Ellen and Albert had the following children: Ethel, Levi, Elizabeth, and Ralph.  My kids descend from Ethel and her husband, Harry Ellis.  In the 1900 Census, Albert and Mary are living with their children in Vigo Co, Indiana.  Albert was a coalminer.

By 1903, they are divorced.  In the 1910 Census, Albert is a worker for the railroad (like a gandy dancer) in Kansas (near Topeka, I think).  Don't know when he died.
