FOUTCH

My great-great grandparents are Doc and Minerva Foutch. They are both buried at the Foutch Cemetary in Fulton County. I would like to know more about them. I know that I am related to the Foutch's over at the Foutch cemetary but I don't know where they belong in my genealogical timeline. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I was raised on the "Old Foutch Farm" next to the Foutch Cemetery and visited it frequently as a child.  I have a book on  The Foutch Cemetery Inscriptions including Edward and Minerva"s.   I suspect he is the son of James and Nancy by the family burial plot and the dates, but do not know for sure. I think all of the Foutch's were related including the one's I knew growing up.  I could send this list to you as an attachment.  Let me know at lagholler@cox.net   Also since you are from Havana, do you know Edna Foutch Wrestler McGrew (sp?) the former owner of The Lakewood Supper Club? She was from that neighborhood and may have family information.   Who are your parents and grandparents?  Maybe I knew them! Let me know if I can be of assistance to you.  Lois

Amy,

I have Edward Foutch and Minerva Blunt on my list of Foutches.  I don't know anything more about Minerva, however I have some information on Edward.  Since you are from Havana, you might find some useful information at the library.  There is quite a lot of Foutch information to be found there. Very interesting reading.  Tamara FOUTCH Martin (tam1953@sbcglobal.net)
