Jane 'may' have been b. in Scotland and 'may' have m. Wm. REED in MD. circa 1866.
Jane gave birth to James LAMB, in 1854 in Allegany Co. Lonaconing, MD. He either took the name of REED when his mother m. Wm. REED or he may have been adopted. (No documents to prove that.)
He carried the last name of REED during his lifetime. He d. in 1914 and is buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Canton, IL. beside a son, Glenn, and his wife Margaret MITCHELL. She was b. in Knox Co. but lived in Dunfermline, St. David and Canton, the daughter of Elizabeth REED and James MITCHELL.

My great-grandfather is Logan A. Johnson (born 1883 in Mapleton, Illinois) and was married to Agnes Cecilia Palmer from Canton, IL (born 22 August 1888). I am just starting my research, so that is all I know right now. They had two boys, Harry (born 1906 in Canton: my grandfather) and Harold. I have a little more information on my grandfather, but not much. He always told me that they lived in Peoria, I am not sure when he moved away.
I have a Marnie LINGENFELTER who married Jessie BARKER Jessie was the son of Allen BARKER and wife Margaret STUFFLEBEAM Allen BARKER was the son of Hiram BARKER and Jane ESTES. Two of Jane's sisters married Pollitt brothers. Emiline "Emily" ESTES married Alvin Oliver POLLITT and Mary Elizabeth ESTES married Alexander H. POLLITT. The three Estes sisters had twenty-five children. Mary Elizabeth Estes POLLITT's daughter, Sarah Ellen POLLITT maried Henry SHAW. Emily Estes POLLITT's daughter, Laura POLLITT married Isaac SHAW; and Jane Estes BARKER's son, John Robert BARKER Married Rebecca SHAW. The three Shaw's were siblings.
