Weese/Brown

I am taking a long shot here, but have this pic that was sent to me by the grgrgrandson of Patterson Weese of Ipava area. They do not know who these men are but I know for a fact that Patterson Weese, George W Brown and John Brown worked for the CB&Q. in Lewistown area. Hoping to get lucky and maybe someone will see this pic or pass it along, and we will get answers.

Thanks

Ardith

Ardith,

Are you related to George Washington Brown, whom was first married to a Webergall and then a Pearl Severns? They were from around the Vermont, Table Grove area.

George Washington Brown was my great-grandfather.

Deb,

As far as I know I am not, but thats not saying much as no clue on my grgr grandfather's siblings or children other than George born in 1866.  They lived in Ipava /Summum area. Did yr George ancesters come from England or where? I have been seeing the Severns name in my searching......................

I have a George Brown, don't know middle initial b. abt 1801. His father was James and mother Martha Stormont.
I also have a George W Brown b. abt 1937. His father was James Franklin Brown and mother Virginia Stanley.
Then I have a George W Brown b abt 1840 and m. to Catherine Jones.
Do any of these George's fit into any of the information you might have?

It is a neat picture, the man in the hat, white like long sleeve undershirt and suspenders  is my grandfather John A Brown. His father was William G Brown of Lewistown as well. William's father was George Brown who came over in 1849 from England. I will email you the pic. I am sending to squietrider 2 @ aol.com.    Assuming the s before the q is correct.
