I am searching for information about BENJAMIN F MATTOX who was a minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church in Fairview, Fulton Co., Illinois during 1897. Any information will be helpful.
You may have already tried this but if you haven't contact the Methodist Conference office for the area. Also you might check with the Uof I Champaign. One of my great greatuncles was a Methodist Circuit Rider in the mid 1800s and my dad found his paper there. Don't remember the circumstances that caused him to look there, but he did.
