My father was born in 1903 in smithfield. His Name was Harry Leslie Beaird. He married my mother, Maud Leona Swise. He had a brother named Jack. Do not know much about any of them as he left my mother in 1932, just after she gave birth to a daughter. The baby was 3 weeks old. He later married another woman. Her name was Elsie. They had a daughter named Shirley Beaird. she married a Robinson. Just guessing I would say she is about65 by now.
Other members of my family are Ralph and Stella Moore of Cuba. She was my mothers sister.

Hi Again!- I looked for Harry Beaird and his parents. This is what I found.
Census 1920- Harry Beaird age 18 living with parents John and Carrie Beaird also a brother Johnny age 12 in- Illinois > Fulton > Harris > District 92 Living on Marietta Smithfield Road in Harris township Fulton County.
I now think his parents were John and Carrie Smith Beaird
and not Charles and Delilah Margaret White Swise

Just wanted to tell you that I was over in Canton, Fulton County and ran into a friend who has lived all her life in Bryant, and knows the Beairds. She said Carol and Greg and I believe also Dana all live there in Bryant, Carol and Greg at same residence and I took it Dana also. Cindy is close by also. So you should be able to corresspond to them and they'd prob enjoy it.

Harry Beaird, formerly of Seville, who was arrested last week at Akron, Ohio, for wife and child abandonment, was on Monday released from custody after he had furnished a bond of $300.00 for his appearance at the November term of the County Court or wherever wanted for trial.
A temporary order was signed by Judge Breckenridge on Monday night by which Beaird is to pay the sum of $3.00 a week for the support of his child, Harriet Louise, pending further order of the court.
