Hello,

My 2nd great grandfather was Klaas Ottens born 8 Apr 1832, Den Ham, Groningen, Netherlands.  He was married to Willemke Grasmeijer.  One of his son's was William Ottens (my 1st great grandfather) who I understand was kicked by a horse and died in 1905.  My grandfather (George W. Ottens) was only 4 years old when he lost his father. 

Most of my relatives have all passed away and I have very few pictures or stories of my direct ancestral line.  I'm related to the Johnson's (Andrew, Edna, Johnny), Art & Gert Workman (born Johnson) and distant relatives named Bielema, Buikema and Buis..  My grandfather George W. Ottens (son of William) & his brothers lived with Reka Grasmeijer when they were in their teens.
