I am researching the Clifton and Beulah Nelsons in Ipava. Beulah was my paternal great grand aunt. Clifton was born 29 Mar 1867 in Schuyler Co., IL. Beulah M. Montgomery was born Aug 1876 in Rushville, Schuyler Co., IL, the daughter of Nathan S. and Mary [Hampton] Montgomery.
Clifton was a newspaper printer, editor and publisher in several western Illinois towns in Schuyler, McDonough and Fulton Counties. He died in Ipava, Fulton Co. 26 Aug 1949. Beulah Nelson died in Ipava 6 Feb 1930.
Clifton and Beulah had one child, a daughter, Gladys Nelson, born Feb 1896 probably in McDonough Co., IL. I have not been able to trace Gladys beyond the 1910 Census of Fulton County. She must have married. I would like to find out whom she married and where she ended up.
