I was in the Canton Library last week, but since then I have more info....I live in Louisvlle, Ky and cannot easily return. I found a reference to an obituary of Robert Daherty, possibly Robert Dougherty in the Feb. 22, 1883 Fulton Co. Ledger. If anyone is in the library, I would so appreciate the info.
