Seeking information on the Reed/Mulholland families

My great grandmother was Pearl Reed, born in Lewistown in 1898, daughter of James Reed and Naomi Milholland (I have also seen trees that claim her name was Naomi Newkirk or that her name was spelled Mulholland). This family lived in Lewistown from about 1885 to at least 1930, but I don't know death dates for James or Naomi, or birth, marriage or death information for any of their children, except Emma Reed Cozine and Pearl Reed Bearce Wilson: George Reed (b 1876), James Reed (b 1880) or Mattie Reed (b 1886). I think George, at least, lived in Lewistown for some time. I also don't have information about Naomi's birth or parents. If you know about any of these people, I would really appreciate it!

Thanks!

Am wondering have you checked the remaining Reed family in Lewistown? Are you from there or close? There was an Arnie Reed, who might be a descendant, passed years back.

Thank you! I am not from nearby, I actually live in VA, so if you know of how I could contact any of the Reeds there, I would really appreciate it!

I lived in Lewistown all my life til I turned 40, moved in 2001 actually. I knew Arnie Reed distantly, but know whom I believe would be his nephew, which lives where Arnie last lived.  Have no idea if he would be interested in family history or not. Will see what I can do to find out.
I am going to Lewistown, which is an hour away from me, and will take your info as I am going to the courthouse. Perhaps I will come up with something. My grandparents would of been around Pearls age. Have you looked in the Fulton Co Census at all?

There was a James and Hattie Reed married on Sept 13, 1865 in Fulton Co IL
But it looks like a divorce was on the dockets on Apr 24, 1869 going on til Apr 1870 perhaps.
I had never looked into Judgements etc before.
Hopefully this has helped some. I ran out of time, enjoying every minute of it. Will continue to look for anything pertaining to Reeds as I can.
I believe the Arnie Reed is Clarence Arnold Reed actually. Will see if can find an obit.

Ardith-
I just saw that you had replied- this is fantastic! Thanks so much for your help! I recently visited my grandfather and found a bunch of pictures of the Cozine in Lewiston, and a picture of Naomi- labeled Naomi Newkirk! this helps answer a lot of questions.
