JOHNSON / SOLLENBERGER

I am looking for information on Fred Johnson who Married Mabel Sollenberger in Lewistown 9 Oct 1895. Mabel was born in Astoria on 7 Mar 1876. They are my Wife's great Grandparents. We know that Fred suddenly Dissapeared and Mabel split the family up to be raised by other relatives. I can trace Mabel's family line but can not find anything on Fred. Any information would be appreciated.

I don't have any information for you regarding Fred Johnson, other than to say that I also have Johnson relatives from Fulton County (Canton) that I am searching for. I just started, so I am in the early stages. My great-grandfather is Logan A. Johnson (born 1883 in Mapleton, Illinois) and was married to Agnes Cecilia Palmer from Canton, IL (born 22 August 1888). I am not aware of a Fred Johnson in my family tree, although there very well may be. I don't know if this helps, or if you know anything regarding the two names above. Thanks.

By the way, what do you do for the Navy? I am a Naval Aviator currently stationed in Norfolk, VA.

My Johnsons were some of the first settlers in Fulton Co., Illinois. I do not recall a Logan Johnson but it might be a side line I have not traced. First settler was James Johnson from Somerset Co. Pa and his wife Julianna Strothers Graham. They had 11 children. Perhaps I can help?
