You might try looking in Monmouth County, New Jersey for Suydam first. Suydam is one of the many large Dutch families that migrated with the Polhemus, Brokaw, Vorhees, Hegeman, Little and others from NJ and thence to Fulton County. These families are all related. Find one find all, and you'll eventually find your Roberts. It isn't an easy journey but it is a very rewarding one when you come to the end.
