My GGrandmother was Maria Ellis b 1852, Ohio. Parents were Sabra and either Edward/Edmund Ellis. Sabra m John Bird in Ohio in 1856 and the family moved to the Astoria area as found in Census records. Maria m William B Kelly also of Fulton Co in 1870 and they later moved to Nebraska where they reared their family and both died in Nebraska.
Sabra was found in Nebraska in the Veterans pension rolls for 1893 but I find nothing else about her. There is some confusion about the Ellis marriage and first names involved.
I'm searching for any information or connections to the above persons. I have Marriage/death info on Maria and William. Anything further would be appreciated.

He was married to Sabrie HEVEL. Sabrie HEVEL was born on June 6, 1825. She died on January 21, 1899. John BIRD and Sabrie HEVEL had the following children:

SECOND GENERATION
2. George Washington BIRD (John-1) was born on March 14, 1859. He died on June 12, 1942.
He was married to Emma WYANT. Emma WYANT was born on May 28, 1860. She died on March 1, 1946. George Washington BIRD and Emma WYANT had the following children:
+3 i. Golda BIRD (born on April 5, 1899). 4 ii. Chester BIRD was born on January 24, 1886. He died on January 23, 1924.
THIRD GENERATION
3. Golda BIRD (George Washington-2, John-1) was born on April 5, 1899. She died on July 24, 1984.
She was married to Curtis Guy STRODE (son of Jesse James STRODE and Emma Jane CUSHMAN) on August 14, 1938 in Fulton Co., Ill.. Curtis Guy STRODE was born on June 7, 1894. He died on January 26, 1974 in Ipava, Fulton co, IL. SOURCES
