KELLY/FRANCE

Susanna France was the daughter of John France and Catherine Bower.  She was born in Wayne Township, Tuscarawas County Ohio in 1834.  She married David Olinger on 24 Oct 1858 in Tuscarawas County, Ohio (Ancestry.com: Family Data Collection - Individual Records about Susanna France)  In the 1760 Federal census for Franklin Tuscarawas County, Ohio page 11, family #1504 she is listed as wife of David Olinger and they have two children: John Olinger age 3 and Jacob olinger age 7/12.  David Olinger died 23 Feb 1867 at age of 38 years 2 months 10 days and is buried at Bunker Hill Cemetery Tuscarawas County, Ohio (Find A Grave Memorial #83188048)

Thus Susanna France could not have been Lewis E. Kelly's wife.  The record on the Illinois Statewide Marriage index 1763-1900 Vol B page 175 License #192 Lewis Kelly and Susannah France has to be in error and his wife had to be Susanna Hoopes. It may have just been a transcription error.  It would be nice if some one could check the original Fulton County records to see whose name is listed as Lewis Kelly spouse on 10 Oct 1851.
